3. Who is God? … and can we KNOW Him?

These discussions of the past week have prompted me to dig up the past and find a study I’d prepared years ago.

After reading a book years ago, called “Knowing God” by J I Packer, I realize that the only way our faith could grow, was to know the One, in whom we trust.

So I decided to embark on a journey in the Bible to discover what it said about the attributes of God. And it was a truly rewarding experience. I ended up doing chain reference through my Bible on each one of those attributes.

So if I want to look up, for instance, what the Word says about God’s mercy, I have it there at my finger tips.

It had been a long time since I’ve looked at these studies, but after talking to those who don’t believe in God, I’ve yearned to get back to them again… and write some on them.

So, on the next page, I’ll start with an outline of these studies.

I’ve divided these attributes under four separate headings:

1. God’s Glory (God is Awesome!!)

2. God’s Sovereignty (God Rules!!)

3. God’s Holiness (God is Holy!!)

4. God’s Love (God is Love!!)

So then, a page for each one…
